I've been a fan of Thunderbirds since I was small and saw it on television, but I only started thinking about, reading and writing fan fiction quite recently. The technology is great, of course, but for me the series is really about the Tracy boys. Their heroism is astonishing, and the attention paid to their everyday lives and the relationships between them give the series an extra edge and make it all the more compelling.

Sometimes they get along, sometimes they don't, but when the chips are down they pull together and do what they have to... and do so knowing they risk losing one another. The more I thought about that, the more I wanted to get inside the characters' heads and work out where they were coming from - hence the writing.

I just hope everyone else enjoys reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it, and would love feedback of any kind.
