DICKONFAN

I first saw Thunderbirds in 2002. A cable TV channel, Tech TV, started showing the series. I ran across it as I was channel surfing and wondered "What is that!" I kept on surfing. For several days, as I surfed at the same time of day, I would run across the same show. Finally I lingered long enough to become intrigued. And after a few more viewings, I figured out who was who, was amazed at the level of special effects, and was caught up in the action, stories, and acting. I began to enjoy the show and looked forward to seeing it each day. After the series was run and re-run a few times, I realized it would eventually go off the air. So I bought a DVD player, something I swore never to do on principle, and a complete set of the show on DVD just to be sure I could still see the show whenever I wanted to.

I hope the Tracys forgive me for not sticking to my principle, but I think they'd approve of the reason why I didn't.
