I was a childhood fan of all things
Gerry Anderson, but I got interested in Thunderbirds
again when it was re-run in the UK in the early
nineties. I was caring for a terminally-ill relative at
the time, and couldn't get out of the house much, so any
interest was welcome. I'd always fancied trying my hand
at writing, and I found myself fascinated by the Tracys,
this close-knit little group of very individual
characters, and a scenario in which virtually anything
could happen. So I sat down at the word-processor, and
Italian Caprice was the result, and I had
tremendous fun writing it. Hopefully I can give some of
that enjoyment back to others who read it.
