Hi there! I am Kris, currently a college student from the USA.

A few years ago, say back in 2005, I saw a movie. It was a really crappy movie, and I honestly hated it, but for some reason I kept thinking about it. Despite that the movie sucked, there was just something in the family dynamic that intrigued me. Unfortunately, we rarely saw it working in said movie and I wanted something more. I am talking, of course, about the 2004 Thunderbirds movie, which has been blocked out from many people's memories. I don't blame them. At all.

At the end of the movie I thought, "Well, that was lame. I bet there is better fanfiction." And thank God I was right! I fell in love with the characters, starting with John before cycling through to the others, and then I discovered the TV show that we all know and love. If the fanfiction inspired me, there are just simply no words to describe the ways in which the TV show affected me. I have coloring pages hanging in my dorm room, two sash-inspired scarves that I hand- crocheted myself, and one lunchbox that I carry proudly to the dining hall so I can smuggle food out. The lunchbox I got from England last summer. It was my favorite souvenir.

As a writer, I've been struggling both to purge aspects of the movie from my work and to create something that fits within the context of the show. I am honored to be a part of the Tracy Island Chronicles. Floored actually, to use a phrase I've been saying a lot lately.
